7 churches article/ review of prior plans

I have been thinking about the meeting and reviewing the materials we have received. I thought the initial question from the 7 churches article was a good one... "what 3 words would you use to describe your church?" and "how would Jesus describe your church?" Good discussion questions.

I also note some trends and values that keep popping up from other planning ventures... prayer, the illusive desire to reach out but not sure how... looking for an outreach plan that will be accepted and will gain a following, also finances, to build or not to build, congregational training, people matter, and a desire to have a meaningful and vibrant faith. These are a few things that hit me.

I am looking forward to the process and wondering what other people saw or perceived.

I sent all the survey and previous material via email out. Let me know if you don't get it by Thursday morning. It is interesting material and quite noteworthy what the perspective of a few years gone by brings to the situation.

I think I am signed in. Pete and I are close to setting the teams, we had to put some people into their second choice, although, I do not think that will be a big deal to most people.

Zoomerang and Survey monkey

I took at look at these two online survey tools. I think Survey Monkey would work well for our needs and the pricing is not bad.... $19.95/month and .05/response. Something to consider for next meeting.
