7 churches article/ review of prior plans

I have been thinking about the meeting and reviewing the materials we have received. I thought the initial question from the 7 churches article was a good one... "what 3 words would you use to describe your church?" and "how would Jesus describe your church?" Good discussion questions.

I also note some trends and values that keep popping up from other planning ventures... prayer, the illusive desire to reach out but not sure how... looking for an outreach plan that will be accepted and will gain a following, also finances, to build or not to build, congregational training, people matter, and a desire to have a meaningful and vibrant faith. These are a few things that hit me.

I am looking forward to the process and wondering what other people saw or perceived.
